UK-Ukraine COVID-19 – sharing medical expertise and experience on COVID-19

Scientists and clinicians from Ukraine and the UK held the first of a series of online webinars to exchange experience on epidemiology, prevention, diagnostics and treatment of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The UK team of experts from University College London, brought together by Professor Sarah Pett, have been on the clinical frontline in the UK since the start of the pandemic. They shared their practical knowledge and experience with a group of Ukrainian medics thanks to the SALUS Charitable Foundation. Professor Sarah Pett:  “This was the first of the three educational webinars on COVID-19, a collaborative effort between University College London and the Salus Foundation. The talks have been very well received by the audience of clinicians and health workers from all over Ukraine”. These webinars are supported by the British Embassy Kyiv and are part of wider UK’s global response to COVID-19 challenges.
