Campaign against human trafficking

On the 20th of August an annual meeting of the Managerial Board of World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations was held in Lviv. Olena Kovalchuk – a project manager of Charity Foundation Salus took part in it and made a report about Salus programmes against human trafficking. Highly respected guests – representatives of Ukrainian Women’s organizations from all other the world were present at the meeting. Among them was Ms Mariya Shkambara – the head of World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations. Ms Orysia Sushko has showed a movie produced by International Organization for Migration about human trafficking. Delegates decided to join the international campaign against human trafficking “Blue Heart”. As Charity Foundation Salus had been working in this area for many years its managerial board also decided to join the campaign and dissiminate more information about it in the community.Learn more on www.unodc.org
