On June 22 2010 all Ukrainian conference of women’s organizations “The Ukrainian Female Movement: Myth or Reality?” took place in Kyiv. During the conference more than 150 participants discussed the role of women’s organization in development and implementation of state policy, ensuring gender equality, problems and perspectives of modern female movement and female organizations in Ukraine.

Organizers of the conference – Ukrainian Women’s Fund, which this year celebrates the tenth anniversary of its activities, has invited highly estimated speakers. Mrs Melanne Verveer – USA State Department Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues, talked about development of a democratic society and carrying on a dialogue between government and women’s movement. Mrs Halyna Zhukovska - director of the Department of Family and Gender Policy Ministry of Ukraine for Family, Youth and Sports, shared with audience information about the plans of the Ministry for solving the problems of Ukrainian women.

The Charity Foundation Salus was represented at the conference by its president Mrs Olexandra Sluzhynska.
